When to know if your child is just making stuff up or being serious..... my son who just turned 3 has started saying his tummy hurts. He points to the same spot every time he says it. He does NOT have a fever, loss of appetite, diarrhea, not throwing up, no loss of energy... basically he is his normal self. But a couple times a day, unprompted, he says"tummy hurts! " take him to the dr just to be safe?
