Pain in hip joint

Ok so a little tmi but I (20F) was having sex and was on top when I felt a pop and then pain in my right hip joint. It happened as I was trying to position myself on him but I really didn’t think much of it until we were done and the pain was pretty intense.... I went home and couldn’t even sleep on my right side.... this was Sunday and I still have moments of pain depending on how I move or sit/lay down... should I go see a doctor or does it sound like it will work itself out.
