How long is your 4 week old sleeping at night?

Just curious! I know all babies are different. Ours gets maybe one 2 1/2 hour stretch of sleep and then the rest are about an hour long. Hoping we can gain some hours soon!

I just left a pediatric appointment. They brought to my attention it relies a lot on their size too. My guys a bit small so that’s why he isn’t sleeping a whole lot yet. They told me anywhere between 8-10 pounds they’ll likely start sleeping better.

At 4 weeks I was lucky to get 2.5 hours at a go...I think she was going through a growth spurt, because a week later, she’s usually sleeping 4-5 hour stretches, which is a huge relief!

We wake ours to feed if he doesn’t wake on his own every 3 hours during the day. He naps hard after his 10 am and 1 pm feedings, but is awake to play for a bit after his 7 am and 4 pm feedings.
We do bedtime at 7 pm and a dream feed at 10 pm. We have been getting a 5-hour stretch of sleep until 3 pm, then a 4-hour stretch until 7 am. We try to soothe any waking or fussiness in between. It’s hard if he is gassy 💨🤞🙈
