Endometriosis help!!!!

I have been ttc for about 18 months with no success. I have always had very painful VERY heavy periods and endometriosis runs in my family. My mother had to have laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriosis to conceive with both my brother and I. I spoke with my GP about my issues and she did verify that she believes I have it as well.

I made an appointment with my obgyn this week to discuss having laparoscopic surgery to remove the endometriosis.

I am wanting to know how long it took to be approved to have the surgery. I am worried it will be months before I can have the surgery.

Also how bad was the recovery.
