Husband always gets to sleep in... 😑

Does anyone else’s husband always get to sleep in on their days off?

I am SO FRUSTRATED with his lack of understanding that I need rest too. I DESERVE REST.

We have a 15 month old and I am 35 weeks pregnant with our second. I take care of our daughter at home, manage the house and run TWO businesses and have not gotten to sleep in ONCE since our daughter has been born. Every time we agree that “it’s my turn to sleep in”, he never follows through in waking up in the morning to take care of our daughter so I can sleep. Granted, our daughter has always been a good sleeper / sleeps through the night. But I just feel like I’m the only one who has had to make changes to my life since she’s been born. He does help out during the day when he’s awake but honestly could care less about what happens in the mornings in his days off. His job is not even that hard and I do way more than him. I’m just fed up honestly. Can’t even imagine how it’s going to be with two babies. 😭

Video games has a lot to do with why he can’t get up in the mornings. I’ve threatened everything under the sun...

How do I get through to him?!

*UPDATE*- thanks for all the advice! I hid his Xbox yesterday morning while he was sleeping in. It’s in the 9 months “clothes box”. He can not find it to save his life 🤣🤣 told him he’s not getting it back until he lets me sleep in! #MamaDontPlay
