Best birth control?

Any recommendations on birth control? Preferably something that will not make me gain weight..

Copper iud, I tried a ton of other bc and they either made me fat or made me crazy . Non hormonal is the only way I could go

Nexplanon is my favorite. It’s fool proof and I got it 3x back to back with minimal issues (your arms sore and bruised after but it isn’t horrible was my only complaint). 
It didn’t make me gain weight or be overly hormonal and my periods were 2-3 days and basically pain free. Then when we were TTC, I got pregnant 2nd cycle after taking it out since it’s such a low hormone it leaves your body pretty much immediately. I’ll be getting it again after delivery!

IUD...you will have side effects with every birth control but the IUD is the only one I didnt gain weight from.

Best to have that conversation with your doctor. What works for one women may not work for you. Everyone is different!

It’s going to depend how your body reacts to it what might work for one won’t work for another. I use a non hormone iud that way it doesn’t effect my body. I haven’t had any issues so far.
