Bath after circumcision??

Is it okay to bathe baby after circumcision? I’m nervous to cause any kind of infection but baby needs a bath!

I was told to only sponge bath until it was completely healed along with the umbilical cord.

My papers orndoctor didn't say when we could, but we saw her 4 days after the circumcision and she said we were able to. I probably wouldn't give a bath the day of though since it's pretty sore.

I waited 5 days per my doctors orders and since then we’ve bathed every other day and it seems to be healing and looking a lot better

I’ve given my baby several times after circumcision due to him peeing on himself .. only sponge bath though not soaking in water. It’s always very quick.
