What did you all do when you gave your baby baby food? I breastfeed my son and the passed 2 weeks he’s been having cereal after I breastfed for 5 min in the morning.

Should I do baby food for dinner or lunch and should I breastfeed him before first ?

I start solids slowly. With my first I started with dinner (because we do daycare) then a couple weeks later added breakfast and a couple weeks later started sending lunch to daycare. I plan on doing the same this time. I always do bottle first then 30-ish minutes later (when we eat dinner) I offer solids. I’ve always been told milk is more important than solids for the first year.

Our son was not gaining weight due to spitup. So 30 minute after a bottle he has pureed vegetables with oatmeal (oatmeal is to thicken it). He has about 4-6 bottles a day and pureed food 3-4 times a day. Ask your pediatrician. Ours told us to start feeding him because  he is so tall and because he wasn't putting on weight to start at 4 months at least 2-3 times a day.

I nurse then five food at the exact time we eat lunch, so she knows we always eat lunch together and the same for supper. Don’t replace table food for breastmilk. Nurse the same amount right now.

I was told to do breakfast lunch and dinner we've been truing it for about 2 weeks and its been great , we do a bottle in the morning at 9am she does baby cereal or oatmeal then another bottle fruit  at 2 for luncg then another bottle at 4 and she has dinner at 7 and we usally do veggies then another bottle for bed time

We do bottle and an hour later, we do solids.
