Positive test had period lasting 2days

Had a positive test on Wednesday, starting spotting Saturday  (light pink when I wiped) then got heavier thought that was it, Sunday got lighter and lighter now Monday when to doctors and negative test but only 4wks 5 days and she said to take a test first thing in the morning as the hormone isn't as strong mid day.. I just want to know has anyone else been through this and been fine with a healthy baby 9 months later or is that it 😔
