Are oversized sweaters bad?

Off topic, but I am in the Christmas spirit. I found this adorable snoopy Christmas sweater for my son.

I want to have cute photos this Christmas season. So I found myself a great matching snoopy sweater for myself! On posh mark, not a store.

Unfortunately, it ended up being a men’s large instead of a women’s large. I have tried to wash it in hot water and have put it through the hot dryer all day. It’s a 55% cotton, 45% polyester so it’s not gonna shrink that well...

It looks ok on me but it’s definitely oversized. I know these “ugly Christmas sweaters” are supposed to fit well. I am not a very fashionable woman, I need advice: am I gonna look like a dummy wearing this?
