PCOS and metformin
I got bloodwork done and I got my results in saying my DHEA was slightly higher then they perfer. My obgyn wants me to go get a transvaginal ultrasound done to confirm PCOS. I'm not overweight I'm 4'11 109 pounds and I have excessive body hair, I have a regular period like clockwork. And sometimes I can feel when I ovulate. My OBGYN wants to put me on metformin. Does this sound like Pcos? And do you believe metformin will help ?
