Can birth control pills combined with Metformin decrease libido?

I’ve been trying to find a correlation that either supports or does not support my question, with no avail. In your personal experience, has taking birth control pills decreased your sex drive? Has taking Metformin decreased your sex drive? Have you taken both together and had a decreased sex drive?

I should note, I am 25 years old, diagnosed with PCOS in May of 2018. I have been on birth control since then, and started taking Metformin about 3 months ago (August 2019). I noticed a decrease in sexual desire after a couple months of being on the birth control, and now that the Metformin is in my system normally, my sex drive has been decreased even further. It’s starting to cause “problems” in my marriage. My husband is feeling less-than and like I’m not into him. I have explained that I’m still sexually attracted to him and love him and want to have sex with him. However, the sex has definitely decreased considerably and it’s not doing either of us (me or husband) any good. Thoughts? Similar stories? Thanks!
