I have been diagnosed with PCOS since 2009. I got pregnant 2 times easy. First pregnancy was a breeze, no problems at all. This pregnancy I have GD. I had stopped taking metformin when I found out I was pregnant both times. But with me having GD, and my numbers being so bad, do you think I could go back on the metformin? My ob nurse said if my numbers don't come down then they'll put me on a pill. I just wanna know if I can suggest metformin and does it really help with GD? Did it help anyone here? I feel safe taking it because I have took it so many years and know the side affects and how my body reacts to it.
