Pooping a lot before labor???

Okay so FTM here and I’ve read that diarrhea or loose vowel movements is a potential sign of labor coming. So I’m asking all moms on here if that is true and if so, how soon did you go into labor after it started??

Just for reference, I’m 36 weeks 5 days and I’ve been constipated for MONTHS! Like to the point where I’ve had to take stool softeners consistently just to be able to poop every couple days. And even then, I still struggle. But starting maybe a week ago, I have noticed I don’t struggle near as much and starting two days ago, I haven’t had to take any stool softeners at all. Then today (TMI sorry) it has been very loose.

Is this that potential sign or am I just hitting a lucky streak???
