My son screams bloody murder in the car EVERY SINGLE TIME. He used to be totally fine and then one day he realized he was strapped in and couldn’t get out. I’ve put a mirror up so he can see me which helps for a few minutes. I’ve given him a million toys which also helps for a few minutes but after that it’s scream time and nothing will calm him down until I take him out.

Any recommendations? Will he always be like this??? I try not to drive anywhere if I can help it. I literally walk everywhere now which is totally fine but if my SO and I ever want to go out to eat or do anything not in the area it totally sucks. Sucks to the point we don’t go out EVER. We’ve turned around every single time or we’ve decided just to do a drive through so we can take him out in the parking lot. It’s sad. We want him to feel safe and happy. What can we do????
