Did eating pineapple induce labor?

I'm curious how many people have had it actually work. I'm 38 weeks and have been craving pineapple like crazy but am afraid it'll induce labor.

I ate pineapple all throughout my last pregnancy bc I was craving it. You’d have to eat like 12 whole pineapples core and all for it to remotely do anything. Eat your pineapple girl. Nothing is going to bring on labor if your body isn’t ready, except dr intervention.

I ate a million pineapples during my 3rd and it did nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Your mouth will be raw and hurt before you ever eat enough. 😟🥰

Baby only comes when they’re ready. Walking and sex helps but it won’t induce you. Also at 38 weeks, you’ll be ok if you had your baby. Eat all the pineapple you want girl.

Yes. I was 36wks and 5d when I started eating pineapples because I had heard that it would help soften my cervix. I was miserable and in so much pain at this point I wanted her out as soon as 37wks full term hit!! Well 2 days later my water broke and gave birth to a beautiful babygirl at 37wks exactly lol I blame the pineapple
