Labour faster than a uber eats! #JulyBaby

I know it's a late one but I think I took so long in posting because my son is just that special! Plus my son was late it's kind of a theme 😂

This was not my first baby he is his father's first. I was very scared of the Labour in the last few weeks as it had been years since my last and one never forgots the pain even after 4 labours without drugs. I was admitted he would come early I don't know why none of my others had come early 🤣🤣. I was due mid July and the midwife assured me he would be here before August he was born at 8.00pm the 31st of July 😲 talk about waiting till the last minute

The last 3 weeks of my pregnancy I stayed at 2cm I ended up being enduced at 42+2. Got to the hospital and checked out at 11am I was at 3cm then thay start the drugs to induce labour (piction?) come 2pm still 3cm my midwife breaks my waters hoping it would speed things along 🤞🤔🤔... *Spoiler Alert* it didn't. at 6pm (still 3cm) she was saying if baby is not here by 10pm she would have to leave and someone else take over, talk about nervous she was my only midwife for 42 weeks and i still was not having contractions!! I decided to have the epidural at 7pm I was lucky the man that did it was free my midwife said get it now before he gets busy it only took 15mins to set up by about 7.45pm I had about 3 contractions and midwife decideds to put my catheter in and check me she says I'm still only 3cm!!!!!!!!! Walks over to the desk to take notes and I tell her all of a sudden I feel pressure and she laughs at me like I'm joking 😑 but then saw how serious I was and checked I was 6-7cm at 7.50pm and had delivered baby at 8.00pm and plecenter at 8.05pm.... Yes I legit had a 10min Labour but the pain was just as bad I tell people and thay assume it was pain-free 🙄 epidural definitely helped tho 🙌🙌

Once I push my son out my partner looks down at him then over at me and starts gagging I thought he was going to throw up on me 😲😬 my only rule was to NOT look down but he said curiosity got the better of him 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
