How to tell people to stop

Trying to kiss our son. My wife and I go to a lot of places with our 5 month old son. We get it, he’s cute, but I don’t understand why people want to kiss him. There have been numerous times where older woman have kissed him on his forehead and we quickly wipe it off. It’s annoying. I don’t know how to tell people to stop without sounding bitter or rude. He is recovering from a cold and even when we tell people that they ignore us.

My wife brought him to my job and my Dean got upset because he was in his stroller and she tried to move the cover just see his face. She didn’t ask if she could see him or nothing. My wife quickly covered him and she got upset, stating “I just want to see his face.” But you didn’t ask us!

I’m highly annoyed and feel like I can’t take him anywhere without people wanting to pick him up from my arms, kiss him or get in his face.
