If you had an early ultrasound, at what week was your next followup?

First timer - this pregnancy has progressed farther than my previous MC earlier this year. I had a first US at 7w6d & thing are fine according to OB.

When do you typically get another one? I just got a call saying it would be at 12wks for the 1st trimester genetic screening. And apparently bloodwork at 10weeks. Does this sound right?

Yes sounds about right. Every dr does things different though. I went for u/s at 4w and then at 6w. I did all my blood work at the 6w and go back at 10 wks. But I'm also highest high risk so I go in every 3-4wks. Don't worry it sounds like it's going on track!

I'm not getting my next until 20 weeks! (First was at 7weeks). I got to the doctor this week so I'm going to ask about the 12 week scan but I have a feeling it won't apply to me.

This is exactly my schedule too. I had my first us at 7w6d and getting my bloodwork at 10w, and genetic screening and us at 12w. But I'm having twins so I'm getting another transvaginal ultrasound at 8w6d.

With my first, I had a pretty non-eventful pregnancy and only had ONE ultrasound at 22 weeks.  With my second and third, I had a different OBGYN and a few issues (lots of previous miscarriages at this point, too), so I had an ultrasound at every single appointment.  I agree that each OBGYN is different, and being high risk certainly means more scans, but I'd rather have a normal pregnancy and one scan than be worried the entire duration and have a dozen!

I had my first US/visit at 5w3d (thought I was further along, like 7w). Then my follow up visit and second US was at 8w2d to make sure everything was continuing as expected. My next visit will be on Wed, and I will be 12w3d for genetic testing and US. I think each doctor is different, and it also depends on what yor insurance will cover.

I got my first at 7w4d, second at 10 weeks, And my next is at 14 weeks although I don't know if thy are going to do an ultrasound at that one but I hope so!!!!

I'm getting one at 9-10 weeks to confirm the due date and then next one at 20 weeks. It feels too far apart... :( 
Why is it so different here? I'm in BC, Canada.
