What if there’s no baby?

I’m currently 8 weeks and 6 days. I found out I was pregnant and had it confirmed when at 7 weeks and 1 day. I go in for my first ultrasound on Thursday, but all I’ve been worried about is if I go and there’s no baby. What if they can’t find the heartbeat? I’m a first time mommy. Please tell me I’m not the only one that does or did feel this way? I’ve done way too much research and read far too many stories. 😔

I’m 8w 1d and I feel like every time I get confident that I have a real baby in there and that I’m gonna carry it to term, I read some horror story and stress all over again. My first ultrasound is a week from tomorrow and I completely feel the anxiety of not seeing anything in there. Good luck mama!

It’s normal to have all these feelings but if they confirmed baby first time and you’ve had no unusual bleeding or extreme cramping babe is more than likely fine. Before you know it you’ll be in your 2nd trimester and the risk of miscarriage will be lower! Enjoy and good luck! ✨💛

Totally normal to stress! 
I had my 12 week appt today and even after multiple confirmations, ultrasound where they confirmed heartbeat I was still anxious!

Then you make the decision with your doctor on what to do and try again. The risk of a Missed miscarriage is only 1 or 2 percent. So the chances of that happening are very low. If it does happen it absolutely sucks and will be the worst feeling in the world but you will be ok eventually and more than likely go on to have a perfect little baby.

I feel the same way. I worry so much all the time! I get my first ultrasound at 12 weeks..so i have to wait 4 more weeks! But everything has been fine so far so I’m just praying for a healthy little babe ❤️

I'm having that same feeling today I have my 1st scan today an I'm so nervous I didnt sleep last night at all
