Endometriosis

I’m 90% sure i have endometriosis. I got my period at 12 and it stayed irregular until i turned about 18. It was heavy. And when i say heavy, i mean bleeding through everything immediately and big clots. When not on birth control, i get extremely sick. I puke, dry heave, get a migraine and can’t even move from bed. It’s crippling. My biggest issue is birth control will only be effective for a few months and then it’s onto the next one.

I expressed my concerns to my doctor and I scheduled an appointment for a sonogram. I was unable to make the appointment and when I brought up how I wasn’t able to make it my doctor simply brushed it off. I thought he would make me a new appointment but he acted as if the birth-control is just going to fix everything. I’m not sure how to approach the conversation again or if I should just see a different doctor for my yearly. I just know that if you leave endometriosis untreated, you can have fertility issues. That’s my biggest fear.
