Soon to be moms of 2020... Do you plan to cut your baby Umbilical cord? Please share your opinions why or why not

For my first child I did, for my second child (March)  I don’t plan on cutting the umbilical cord at all.  ( it falls off on its own anyway) I truly believe cutting the cord to early were robbing our babies of the important nutrients and blood from the mother to the baby. 
I still have to do research on this! I’m not sure if I want to leave the cord untouch  with it still attached to the placenta( I’ve seen oils that’ll help with the smell if I choose that option) ￼or cutting it 3-5 mins later. ￼
Let me know your opinion? Moms who hasn’t cut there baby cord please explain why you haven’t?

Delayed cord clamping is standard practice at my hospital. But leaving the cord attached to the placenta until it falls off itself has risks of infection. You might find a midwife who is fine with it for a home birth or maybe a birth center that is okay with it. But most hospitals will tell you no. If it’s super important to you, you may need to plan your birth around it.

Noooo babies have gotten so sick from leaving it attached to the placenta!! It’s a rotting biological thing! Do delayed cord clamping but please don’t leave it fully attached to the placenta

I don’t plan to. Having a scheduled csection and they will do delayed cord clamping with massaging the cord until it stops pulsing. They do still offer it at my hospital with csections but I would probably get sick if they took the sheet down and I could see everything
