Pap smear?

Hiya guys!  So my first appointment in on the 26th, and I know it's standard to get a Pap but if I've already had one this year is it really necessary?  Did anyone else have one recently and were able to get out of the one at the prenatal?  They're super uncomfortable for me so I'm probably gonna ask my doctor if I can avoid it.

I had one in January and went to my first prenatal appointment in July and they didn't do another one.

If your current ob wasn't  the one to perform it, odds are that you'll be asked to do another. They want verification for themselves usually.

I had a miscarriage last December, now pregnant again. My doctor told me that theirs no point in doing another smear since I had one last pregnancy. Hope that helps.

I had a pap in February, got my mirena removed in April and got pregnant in May and at my first prenatal they asked me if I had a pap this year and I had so I didn't need another.
