Anxious, hcg testing
Can someone please shed some light. I had an ultrasound done at 5w6d. I was told there was a sac but that there was no detectable heartbeat yet and the Dr would have me come back. He also said I was measuring at 5w. I know dating can be off but still I'm worried.
So the dr received the images and instead of giving me any information told me to come in for bloodwork Fri and then again today (Mon) to measure if the hcg levels doubled. I can't even get the results until Wednesday at which point I will be 7w4d. He won't tell me anything which has me extremely anxious. No matter what conclusions are drawn from the bloodwork, I feel another ultrasound would be necessary either way.
The nurse wouldn't even bother looking up today my results from Fri because she said they have to be compared to todays. I don't even know how I will get through the next few days. Has this happened to anyone else?
