smoke cigarettes?" /> I get asked all the time: "do you smoke?" It's really starting to bother me. I don't understand why so many people smoke. Why do you start a habit that is CLEARLY very damaging to your health and well-being? It's just stupid...

I did until I got pregnant, now I don't even think about smoking because I don't want my baby girl around it.

I smoked erratically for 20 years. Tough times it would be a lot then I'd stop, then go back to having 1 a day before bed. I quit last November  permanently  bc I thought it was stupid for me to be being healthy to get pregnant and still having a cigarette a day.

Its a personal choice, just like anything else. No I do not smoke and never have. And its a huge deal breaker for me, because I know what end of life looks like for chronic smokers. The same question can be asked of any other vice that folks have. Theres consequences to all behaviors, be it good or bad. But to each his own.

I do not! My mom did, then quit, then started again when her life got stressful. She usually smoked when she was driving somewhere. Now I have the urge/craving to smoke when I'm driving. It's crazy to me!!! I've been in health classes for college so I know what it does to the body so if course I won't act on those urges, but holy moley they are strong!!!
