Get a new car or keep what I’m comfortable in? (Read description before voting please)

So I have a 3 year lease on my car (and I LOVE my car) which is about to run out. My grandparents have been paying it this whole time—the lease started when I was in college and had no money but needed a car lol.

Anyway, so now that the lease is ending they’ve generously told me they’ll get me a car. They’ll either buy out the current leased car so I can just keep it.... or will buy me a new car if I want.

The issue is I feel like it’s dumb to turn down a new car that’s offered to me! I could just get the same car but a newer model. But it seems like such a hassle and so stressful... I’m already so comfortable in my current car, and it’s only 3 years old with 30k miles. So like, it’s not a new car, but its not THAT old.

Question is, do I keep the car because I’m comfortable in it and it’s the easier option, or am I stupid to turn down a brand new car? Again, they said they’re happy to pay either way (and would actually prefer to spend the money to new car, but said it’s totally up to me) so don’t consider the money in this situation because it’s not an issue to them either way 🤷🏻‍♀️
