Where to put computer area?

Question

We don’t have the option to have a separate computer/study room. I’m left with two choices ... put it in the master bedroom or in my livingroom. I’m leaning more towards livingroom but does this seem tacky? 
If you have a designated computer place in your home, will you please share pictures? I’m trying to get some ideas.

Living room is fine. When I was a kid we kept a computer in the living room

The living room is good if it's for everyone to use. We have ours in our room because it's just for us to use.

I'd do living room too. You'll sleep better without it in your room. Your brain subconsciously associates your room with sleep and having distractions in there can make it harder to sleep

Not tacky at all. I'm pretty sure the living room was the most common place back when desktop computers were super popular. Growing up mine was in the corner of the living room until we moved and there was an alcove in the hallway for a desk setup
