Could dinosaurs and humans coexist?

If dinosaurs were alive today do you think dinosaurs and humans could coexist? But not only coexist but actually be friends. Or would one always be the predator and one the prey? 
Many animals would be a predator to humans in the wild but these same animals can be tamed and trained to trust and love humans as well. 
For example mans best friend is the dog. Dogs are know to be loving loyal and trustworthy creature to their owners. But if you’ve ever crossed a wild one you know it’s not a safe situation, same with their close related counterparts the wolf and coyotes. 
Other animals that would be deadly to cross in the wild have been tamed such as tigers, bears, and foxes. What do you think would humans have been able to tame a Tyrannosaurus rex or Velociraptor mongoliensis or would we or them become prey to the other?

I definitely think we’d become prey. I think what everything thinks they know about dinosaurs isn’t necessarily true. I also think that lions, alligators etc are a size that can be over powered by humans but a dinosaur is way to big to attempt to train.

Even though a TRex has chicken wings for arms, I'm pretty sure we'd be like a chicken nugget to them. Emus are the closest thing to a dinosaur left on this planet and they are terrifying!

Nope. Definitely couldn’t coexist peacefully. I have no doubt that if a dinosaur was hanging out in my street waiting for some to come outside, it wouldn’t be to play street hockey, they’d be picturing a tasty meal.

Humans are at the bottom of the food chain. Dinosaurs and humans could never co exist. At least the carnivores. Herbivores maybe. Technically, dinosaurs still exist, crocodiles & alligators are still considered a dinosaur.... could you be “friends” with one of those? Lol
