What do I wear at my baby shower ??

I know It probably doesn’t matter. But my baby shower is in December so it’s going to be cold. I always pictured wearing a dress to my baby shower and feeling so cute. But since it’s so cold and it’s at a restaurant I’m wondering if I should just wear a cute sweater and cute shoes or something ??
