confused, help?

so me and my boyfriend of 3 years always have condom sex. recently, he has been complaining that his penis itches on the “inside and out” and kinda burns to pee. also, he has noticed some like watery discharge. at first we thought maybe a uti but not really sure. has anyone ever had this happen to their partner? do you know what it could be? sorry tmi but google wasn’t being any help lol
