Allergic to Baby Detergent?

Since i was about 35 weeks pregnant i have come into some severe itching on my stomach which i thought was due to my strech marks and rapid growth due to polyhydraminos (extra amniotic fluid). 
Fast forward 2 weeks later, had my baby at 36 weeks & 1 day and baby is almost a week old and my rash has gone from stretch marks to a full blown red stomach with hives on my upper abdomen, arms, upper and inner thighs, and even some of my butt.
I got to thinking and realized the itching started during doing the babies laundry before birth while having my stomach out & now that baby is here its just getting worse by the day.
Has anyone else experienced having an allergy to laundry detergent or dreft?

Baby detergents aren’t that great actually. When I was researching them for my first baby they actually have a lot of bad stuff in them no better than any regular detergent plus they can be pretty scented as well. Free and clear detergents are better if you are going to use it for your baby. I used Seventh Generation Free & Clear until my little one was old enough to start using ours. 
But I agree with the other women, you should have your OB to check you to make sure it isn’t something more serious. Just to be safe.

My husband has psoriasis terrible and cannot use much of anything with perfumes and dyes. You might grab a small bottle of detergent like ALL Free and Clear, or Tide has one too I believe, and wash your clothes with it. You might also check your soap/body wash... especially with pregnancy, what normally doesn’t cause an issue turns into a Big one!

I'm allergic to 3 types of laundry detergent and fabric softener.dreft isn't the best to use also we are using seventh generation Free and clear. Look up dreft ewg
