I’ve been pretty much natural for two years now. I’m just so happy with how far my hair has come. I’ve learned to do so many different styles with my hair and have found a confidence I didn’t have before. I feel EMPOWERED if that makes sense!

I used to DESPISE my hair texture. It never did what I wanted. It was always bushy and frizzy. It never looked good. (So I thought) I always burned the life out of it to achieve a look that my hair obviously wasn’t meant for.

Over the course of these two years, I’ve learned that there was nothing wrong with my hair. The problem was how I mistreated and refused to take care of it as it was. So much has changed for me and a big step was accepting myself and loving myself for who I was! My hair really helped that transition. Please drop your natural hair photos!
