Trying to Conceive

I know this is a little odd but we just recently decided to try and have a baby. We had sex last night and my period is in 9 days, what’s the chance I could get pregnant? When should I test? And how long does it take to fertilize and implant? Also what was the first signs you was pregnant, what made you test?
