Hospital Bag 💼 Can I see?

Can I please see your hospital bag? I’m wondering if I should take a duffel bag? Or is that too much? Or should I take like a large travel bag/purse/Tote?

Just bring the bare minimum, the hospital supplies almost everything you and baby need while there

I’m taking a carryon sized suitcase. It has my stuff plus baby stuff. Also, don’t forget a towel. I don’t know about other hospitals, but mine had super scratchy thin small towels...so I was glad I brought my own for my first baby.

I used to think that it's best to not bring a lot of stuff. My first pregnancy I didn't bring enough. This pregnancy I'm packing everything lol not everything, but I'll be more mindful. It also depends I forgot I was getting free newborn pictures and I didn't pack enough for that. :(

I took a tiny rolling carry on suitcase. It had stuff for myself, the baby, and my husband in it. We packed light and am so happy we did. We had a little extra room because I knew some of our guests would bring gifts for the baby. It was nice because my husband easily carried everything we needed and I didn’t have to help while I was in labor. The suitcase was more for convince because it rolled than need for space. A weekender sized bag would work well.

I’m packing a small tote and leaving purse home. Only the essentials. No need for diaper bag, hospital has everything and just brining outfits in my bag for baby. Also packing an empty reusable tote for stuff to bring home from hospital they give you or if people bring you stuff.
