Stop nursing?

When did you all stop nursing? My LO is starting to get teeth,  and its rough on the nips. Thinkn about still pumping tho. Ur thoughts?

Their latch adjusts once they adjust to their new tooth (teeth.) it can be tricky for a couple of days but it won’t continue to be uncomfortable. 
Google “kellymom teething” - KellyMom is a great resource for breastfeeding and covers every topic I’ve ever thought of.
I nursed my first until he was 4.
This one, is 10 weeks...I am not sure how long we will go for. At least 2 years for best health.

18 months with my son due to being pregnant with my daughter.

18 months with my first. I stopped due to being 20 weeks pregnant and having nipple sensitivity. 
My son went through a biting phase but it lasted a week. 
My second is 6 months and will bite down with her jaw and it hurts so bad but she won’t take a bottle so I can’t stop.

With my first, 19 months. He stopped caring to nurse 3 months after I started working. Broke my heart.
With #2 is 9 months, my goal is 2 years. He's got 5 teeth already, 2 bottom 3 top. Other then latch adjustment I've never had an issue. He hasn't bitten yet

I stopped breastfeeding when my daughter was 15 months. I almost stopped when she first started getting her front teeth because they hurt her and she would sometimes bite me when she was teething. It was awful! Luckily she never bit me again once her front teeth came in and she wasn’t teething anymore. You could pump and feed until you get through that rough patch but then you could try feeding again later if you feel like you want to.

Your nipples do toughen up pretty quickly to teeth so if you want to keep nursing, there’s some hope for you.  I’m planning on 2+ years.  I’ll start encouraging him to wean at 3 if he hasn’t weaned himself by then.
