We found out on the 14th that our twins are both girls, and we’re excited! This whole time, our almost 3 year old was completely convinced that they would be “a brother and a sister”. We keep telling her that she is having two sisters, but she keeps INSISTING that one is a boy. Very obviously, the ultrasound showed two girls. Every time I tell her that she isn’t going to have a brother, she looks at me with her big blue eyes and goes, “Pweese?” 🤦🏼‍♀️ We’re only two days in, and it is really starting to bother me. Ugh! Am I only letting this bother me because of the jerk hormones raging right now? 😂😂😂 Anyone have any stories about your older kids having gender disappointment?

I’m sure she will come around soon. She’s actually excited about becoming a big sister and has started talking to the babies. It’s very sweet.
