EBF baby and bottle ?

I EBF my son , but I feel I’m trapped all the time At home honestly I don’t mind spending all my time with him , but sometimes on the weekend I would love to leave him with his dad and go get my eyebrows done or quick trip to the mall or even a long nap ,
Problem is my son will not last longer than 2 hrs without breastfeeding sometimes less he’s 12 weeks today and I feel he knows when I’m not around he goes from 0 to 100 and my poor husband tries everything but he cries so much he’s ok with him but when he’s hungry no way 
What do you guys do ? I’m scared from pumping and leaving the bottle that he might reject the breasts after !

I pump on occasion and have a stash of milk in the freezer that others can feed in a pinch. We breastfeed 99% of the time but it is nice to be able to duck out here and there and have others feed a bottle. Giving her a bottle has not impacted her ability to breastfeed one bit. Our lactation consultant recommended the Avent brand bottles and look up paced bottle feeding so your husband can follow that process when bottle feeding to more closely mimic the milk flow from your breast. Every baby is different but I think most can handle the back and forth between bottles and breasts especially once breastfeeding is so well established. I’ve also heard that its good to give your baby a few bottles by 3 months because the longer you go without doing it the harder time they’ll have learning to eat from a bottle later. Good luck!

I use the Dr. Browns as well. Last night was my first night away for some girl time! It was great and so needed. 
I too was anxious and worried he’d favor the bottle over the breast but several people settled my nerves and said “oh honey he’ll always want mommy” 
He also eats every 2ish hours during the day but  Ive never been gone during the day longer then that so no advice there other then keep a stash and have your husband thaw it out as needed! 
I fed my LO last night and then left roughly 30 min after. My husband then gave him a bottle of my milk for bed. Then again when he woke up and again in middle of night. (I was worried I’d still have alcohol in my system) I nursed him at 830 this morning and he was so happy.

I fed my LO a bottle of breast milk this afternoon to see if he would take it (always hungry!!)
He was cautious at first then guzzled it all down, burped and napped on my shoulder. 
This gave me some confidence to plan for my work Christmas party coming up. 
I will be able to feed him and put him down for the night then go out with trusted sister/aunt to watch over! So excited! 
Then I can bottle feed in the case he needs it while I am away or the next morning 🥳

Baby is 12 weeks and while we mostly breastfeed every two hours (except longer periods at night), my husband has started giving him a bottle once a day in the evening. We’ve found that I cannot be around, or he wants the real thing. He also didn’t live avent bottles, and prefers an evenflo bottle we got as a sample that is shaped more like the nipple... and my husband cannot stop to burp him or baby will cry the rest of the bottle through. I then pump after he has been fed.
It hasn’t affected how baby feeds at all.
It’ll be trial and error, figuring out which bottle baby likes, emergency and how to burp, etc...

I pump and leave my husband with a bottle a few times a week. I use Como Tomo bottles. My son will take the bottle but he still prefers the breast. I think most babies want not just the milk but the comfort of their mom. The bottle won’t smell like you or feel like you and your baby will choose that over the bottle.

I use dr browns specialty feeding set because they have pace valves and do a paced bottle feed.  He actually prefers the breast still.

I was using avent natural but his mouth is too small and he wasn’t getting a proper seal on the wide nipple and kept sucking air and choking.  We saw a speech pathologist for bottle feeding help and she had us try these.  She said our breast doesn’t stay wide like the “more like the breast” nipples, it elongates and is flexible unlike the silicone.

I tried to wait to introduce a bottle for this same fear, I made it two weeks 🤣 I needed to pump and have my husband to feed him sometimes overnight or I was gonna lose my mind. We use Avent bottles and have never had an issue. Hes breastfed/bottlefed whenever we find it necessary. I still feed himself from the breast I would say 80% of the time and he has no problem going back and forth.
