Is she right that it's possible to get pregnant as soon after two weeks after giving birth?

My best friend seems to think that it's possible to get pregnant as soon as two weeks after giving birth. I've only ever heard the earliest as being four weeks so this was news to me. Is she right?

It’s probably different for everyone. I would like to say it’s impossible because no one should be having sex at 2 weeks pp but I’ve learned there’s a ton of people who don’t follow that rule lol.

Your ate extremely fertile after giving birth.  Realistically you shouldn't be having sex so you shouldn't get pregnant until you're cleared by your doctor at your 6 week appointment but not everybody listens  to that

They tell you to wait 6wks to have sex. But if you dont wait yes u can still get pregnant

Literally any time immediately after birth you are extremely fertile, it’s not really a case of taking 2 or 4 or whatever weeks for your cycle to come back to normal and your regular ovulation cycle to start again, its just you hormones being absolutely all over the place. 
I’m sure someone can give a more scientific explanation 🤭

You wouldn’t know you’re pregnant yet then but it is possible to ovulate already then

Yeah it’s possible. I’m pretty sure my mom and step dad did the deed in the elevator when they left the hospital after having my sister because 9 months later my brother came.
