How to START potty training?

I read all this on how to potty train but nothing’s really telling me how I should start?
How do I teach a 2 year old what he needs to do on the potty?

Start motivating with potty books or videos like Daniel tiger. Motivation really helps. But yeah I kept my daughter naked from the waist down in the living room (removed all rugs) for 3 days and made her sit on it every 15 minutes and celebrated when she peed.

Have a potty around and pleanty of time no nappy on. He /she will guide you when there ready

Set them on it every time you go. The 1st time they go might be a fluke, just be ready to cheer & praise like crazy & they’ll realize what it’s for.
