Brandi is correct. Word of caution: buy the kind in the photo. This type closes like a safety pin and the ends are covered. There is another kind that an L shaped end and the short part of the L sticks out (you'll see what I mean if you find them) and that little sticky out bit stabs the fuck out of ankles or wrists or wherever you wear these bracelets. I made soooooo many of these in high school. I love them
