I am really in to somebody. we have been friends for years and i have kind of resigned myself to the fact that it would have happened already if it was going to. she just isn’t in to me that way and we are really close friends so i’ll just accept that.

but now she’s asking me dating advice and talking about how she wants to meet somebody and it’s just too much for me. i will be happy for her i promise but it hurts for me to think about her with somebody else especially when i’m the person she’s talking to about this stuff.

what can i do?
