Brown spotting long after period?

That’s when my period was, but I’ve been spotting brown stuff ever since then. I’m on the iud and have heard spotting is normal but I’ve been on it for almost a year now so idk what’s going on. I haven’t been sexually active in over a month and a half so it’s not pregnancy. Idk what’s going on??
