With my son my water broke so I never experienced “early labor”

Last night at 3am my stomach was “hurting” idk if it’s contractions or just a stomach ache. I really can’t til the difference. Contractions just don’t hurt to me so I have a hard time distinguishing them. I ate breakfast and felt supper nauseas this morning . I still feel like I have stomach ache/back cramping etc. could this be early labor signs? Or am I just supper pregnant. I plan to labor at home until I can’t handle the pain and I’m in active labor. But with my son active labor started 4/5 hours after my water broke. I am 38 weeks on Tuesday.
