Lexapro side effects... ?

So I have been on it for 4 days now and I’m having negative intrusive thoughts.. can’t sleep... feel so off... no emotion... shaky.. heart palpitations... I’m so sad... I’m scared... is this normal?

Please call your doctor asap! Sometimes it’s trial and error to find the right medication. Lexapro just might not be the best fit for you.

I was on Lexapro for 6 days and had the same thing. Intrusive thoughts, insomnia, heart palpitations, nausea and a very high resting heart rate. 
Went to my doctor and he said it wasn’t normal for me.
It can take a while for the side effects of SSRI’s to go away, but you should always tell your doctor about any negative side effects you have on any medication.
