Delsym while breastfeeding?!

So I have a cold and the worst dry cough and I just took Delsym because I looked and it said in everything I could find it was safe for breastfeeding.

So now after taking it I am looking up the reviews and literally every review is talking about how they felt high, drunk, had a panic attack, vomiting, explosive diarrhea and more and I am terrified. That doesn’t sound like the type of thing I want to take and then BF my 11 month old.

I took as directed and won’t be taking more, but does anyone else have any insight? Is it safe to BF? Had anyone taken it while breastfeeding, or taken it period and had a bit horrible experience like those I’m reading about?
