Flu shot?

Really torn between getting the flu shot or not. Doctor is constantly reminding me to do it. But I hear two results/sides: "I didn't get sick at all" or "I ended up getting the flu."

What have you ladies done?

I always get it.  It's made from last year's flu strains so some people still get influenza even with the vaccination- because a new strain can develop from year to year.

You can't get sick from the flu Shot, since it's made up of dead enzymes , it's highly improbable. But if you got the nasal spray flu shot ,which you shouldn't since your pregnant, that is live enzymes that will make you have a minor case of the flu. Get the shot. Your prone to getting sick more . So don't worry. I got mine and feel wonderful besides the pregnancy symptoms itself

You can't get the flu from the flu shot they give to pregnant women. 
It is not a live vaccine, therefore there is no risk of getting the flu from the vaccine. 
The nasal spray is A live vaccine which you can get the flu from. They do not give this to pregnant women. 
If someone got sick after getting the flu shot, it wasn't from the vaccine. It was from some other source...

I never get the flu shot but since I'm pregnant I decided to have it done because it's not just me anymore. Haven't gotten sick yet!

I got the shot for the first time in my life and haven't gotten sick yet. I'm hoping I don't this winter. I wouldn't be able to stand being in my last trimester AND being sick screw that

I'm getting that one and the tdap shot because my doctor said the baby will get some of the immunity :) I'll get mine at 34 weeks 😜

I got mine at my OBGYN last week and other than a little sore at the injection site feel fine, and it was my first ever flu shot. I talked to several doctors and were all very pro-flu shot in pregnancy.

I got mine on Saturday and I'm fine but I suppose it affects ppl differently xx
