Should a dad that supports financially also help with child care and house work after getting home from work? Stay at home moms do just as much work and deserve a break too!

Let me flip it, I’m the working parent in my household. Should I make my husband do all the housework and childcare? No it’s my house and my child too. Are there different amounts of work we each should do for household tasks. Yes!

Personally, I don't expect my fiance to work all day then come home and clean too. Pick up after himself, yes. I'm a SAHM so I'm always here to do the normal cleaning. I prefer he come home and spend the little free time he has with his kids.

I stay home so he can work. He works so I can stay home. We both have to take part in raising OUR kids.

Its also very healthy for kids to witness both parents contributing around the house.

Yes. My husband is a part time stay at home dad and I work full time as the "provider" and I do just as much (if not more lol) housework.
