Ladies .. thoughts??

I haven’t really ever met a women who takes care of they family. Like .. a women who is the provider while the man stays home that’s what I’m trying to say lol. I’ve seen some post on here were the women works and man stays home but personally I haven’t met someone yet.
Should more women start being providers?🤔

I think these rules are stupid. If people are happy, let them be happy. I make 3x what my husband makes and his ego is in tact. He supports me other ways and makes sure I feel cared for and safe. But I pay the bills. Itsok to have different ways of doing things. It doesn’t make him less a man and doesn’t make her stupid.

Oh lord. 🙄 I think this is soooo dumb, sexist, and played out. 
I know for me and my man, our money is simply our money. We put our money together and go by that. I think this woman has the right to buy her man whatever she wants. Especially because they’re married. I wouldn’t want to see my man struggling when I have it.

If a woman wants to be a provider, more power to her. If the man wants to, more power to him. If they both want to, hell why not?! As long as both people in the relationship are happy, who cares about how things were done back in the day? Whether it’s man or woman staying home or nobody staying home?

I think instead of “letting” anyone do anything we should just keep our noses out of other people’s relationships and family life. What works for one family won’t work than another. If a woman earns more money and is happy working whilst the man stays home and takes the primary parental role then why not. As long as everyone is happy and looks after each other who cares!

I know someone who works as a midwife and she is the breadwinner for their family and her husband stays home with the kids. She’s also actively in her children’s lives as much as she can but it works for their family of 8 so I say to each their own. If it works for them then why argue? They feel comfortable with that decision it’s okay for women to be the money maker. Before my husband and I got married I made more money than he did until I moved. I say it’s fine for women to make money for their family.

As long as if the roles are reversed they would do the same for me than I see no problem with their relationship but if he was the one making all that money and he wouldn't do the same for her than I'd see that as him taking  advantage of her seems like she waited until they were married to really spend a bunch of money on him which was smart for her

I’m full time and my husband is part time while he goes to school.  Really, it’s up to the couple and what they want to do.  I would personally rather be home taking care of things there then be in the corporate world, but it’s not what is best for us right now.

I’m the main provider and my hubby stays at home. He’s an artist so he works but doesn’t have to clock in and out or leave the home.I laugh when people say “oh that’s different”. I have a coworker that refers to my husband as my “wife” . My husband is a great dad and he does an awesome job.

I have two women in my office who work and their husbands stay home with the kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ in my marriage, we work as a team and split bills 50/50 and same with chores

This was already posted in another room, but I’m the provider in our household. My husband works part time and then stays home with our daughter. I make close to 6 figures and he makes $12 an hour. There are no “rules” to how a household functions- as long as it’s functioning.
