Went in for scan today found out I'm 6weeks 2 days but couldn't see a heart beat... dr is concerned about not seeing one.. I got back in Friday for more blood work and another scan but has this happened to anyone else?

That’s still really early for an ultrasound. Most docs won’t do one until 8 weeks because they frequently won’t pick up a heartbeat. Try not to worry.

I don't want to shatter your dreams but with my son our 1st appointment was 6w, 3days and there was a strong heartbeat and a clear little bean
 With my daughter her Appointment was 6w, 2 days and her heartbeat was 119 with a clear bean

I’m going through the same situation. I’m 6 weeks and they were not able to find heartbeat. I’m getting blood drawn again tomorrow and will go back Thursday to see if hormone levels have risen!🙏🏼❤️ hope you have a healthy pregnancy girl

Yesterday I had an early scan said baby measures 6w1d and babies heart beat was only 103, I of course kind of panicked bc that seems awfully low! But the nurse who did US just kind of squinted her face and said “ehh it’s really early” so I’m trying to not panic too much more... but I understand your concerns. I don’t go back until dec 16 unless something happens. But our bean is measuring 2 weeks behind what we thought, as we could be wrong on EDD, I’m also concerned bc I’ve known with a positive test for 6 weeks, so I got a positive 1 day pregnant??? Yes, it’s really early on so there’s no guarantee of seeing a heartbeat at this stage. Did they test your hcg levels? If they did and they have increased when you see the docs again Friday, hopefully that will be a more reassuring indication. Until then, try not to worry too much

My doctors dont do ultrasounds until 12 weeks or heartbeat until 11 weeks because otherwise its super early

I went today, they didnt tell me how far along they thought I was and couldn't find a heartbeat. I've been hysterical but I am going back next week and hoping for the best. Hoping for the best for you too!

Yes thiz happen to me i ended up miscarriage the baby they waited till i got to 11 weeks and never found the heartbeat beat my body automatically rejected so i did miscarriage hope your come out good

UPDATE: my hcg came back measuring right where I should be for 6weeks 3 days I'm going in friday for another HCG panel to make sure it isnt going down.  My doctor also set up a formal ultrasound for December 2nd so I'll be 8 weeks then so we should see something at that point.  She used the little laptop ultrasound machine and her nurse said that one isnt the most thorough. So there is still hope unless me HCG friday doesnt go up.

I have 5 kids and not once where they able to see a heart beat at 6 weeks . It was always 7 weeks and like 2/3 days . Don’t stress about it . Every pregnancy is different . ❤️
