Vicks Vaporizer question?

My son is sick and coughing a lot. I bought the Vick’s vaporizer machine but I don’t have the strips or liquid. I have the baby Vick’s ointment the one you put on your chest. Can I use that instead?

Answer

If suggest putting it in a bowl of water and mixing it into the water as much as possible so it’s not huge gooey clumps, and then putting that into the vaporizer. My SO just put big scoops of it in our vaporizer and we had to throw it out after we were done because it was just giant icky globs all over the inside, but it actually did work while we were using it 🤷🏼‍♀️
